About Laura Dionne-McCracken, MD

Laura Dionne-McCracken, MD, brings nearly three decades of experience to her role at Edison Health in Edison, New Jersey. As a pediatric specialist, she finds working with children deeply rewarding and enjoys watching those in her care grow and thrive. 

Education is an essential part of Dr. Dionne-McCracken’s path. She began her studies at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in biology. She went on to complete a medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, now a part of Rutgers University. 

A pediatrics residency at New York Presbyterian-Columbia University Irving Medical Center in Manhattan, in New York City, further refined her skills and knowledge. Now a board-certified pediatric specialist, Dr. Dionne-McCracken has held numerous positions in pediatric care.   

Over the years Dr. Dionne-McCracken has developed a wonderful bedside manner. She understands that some kids need a little more time and attention than others and strives to make all patients feel comfortable during their visits. 

Parents enjoy working with her because they feel heard and supported as they make health decisions for their children. Finding a great pediatrician isn’t always easy, but many area families wouldn’t consider bringing their child to anyone other than Dr. Dionne-McCracken.
